This snowball table decoration features poofs made with the Mini Bowdabra. It’s the perfect decoration for a winter table.
You’ll need these supplies for the snowball table decoration:
- Snowflake ornament (I found this one at a dollar store)
- Two 3′ lengths of 8″ white tulle—or three 3′ lengths of 4″ white tulle
- Battery-operated tea light
- Three 15″ lengths Bowdabra bow wire
- Mini Bowdabra Bow Making and Design Tool
Let’s make the three snowballs first:
- Cut each of the 3′ strips of tulle in half lengthwise so you end up with four lengths 3′ x 4″. You’ll only need three of the strips for the snowball table decoration, so save the fourth strip for another project.
- Fold the 15″ bow wire in half and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends of the wire under the Mini Bowdabra to keep them out of the way.
- Next, scrunch one of the lengths of tulle into the Mini Bowdabra with the narrow end parallel to the Bowdabra base.
- Compress the tulle with the Mini Bowdabra wand.
- With the tulle still in the Mini Bowdabra, pass the wire ends through the loop, and tighten. Bring the wires to the back side of the bow and tie a knot. Leave the wire ends long for now.
- Fluff the snowball.
Now, we’ll assemble the table decoration:
- Tie each of the tulle snowballs to the snowflake ornament using the bow wire, spacing them equally. Bring the bow wires to the back side of the snowflake and trim.
- Nestle a battery operated tea light in the center of the snowball table decoration.
