How to make a great under $6 hostess gift in minutes
Materials:
- Baking pan
- Oven mitt
- Cookie mitt
- Christmas candies
- Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- Cookie cutter
- Small ornament to match
- Ribbon
Instructions:
First, take some of the ribbon and bring it around to the back of the baking pan, cross it over, and bring it back to the front. Don’t tie it yet. This will make it easier to insert all the rest of the gifts.
Next, insert the Christmas candies, cookie mix, and oven mitt under the ribbon on the pan. Then, tie the ribbon on the front into a knot. Dovetail the ends of the ribbon. Set it aside while you make the bow.
Make the Bowdabra bow
Now, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Now, insert the ribbon into the Bowdabra, fold, and twist to make loops back and forth to make an eight-loop bow.
Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire and pull it through the cookie cutters and ornament. Knot it together then lay it in the Bowdabra. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Now, Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Tie the bow around the ribbon on the pan. Fluff and shape the bow. You have an under $6 hostess gift, and you created it in just minutes. It also makes a great gift for Mom.
