The best thing about these beaded snowflakes is that you don’t have to shovel them!! All you need for these snowflakes are pipe cleaners and beads. Any beads will work as long as the hole is large enough for the pipe cleaner, such as perler beads and pony beads.
How to easily make beaded snowflakes with chenille stems and beads.
Let’s make beaded snowflakes:
- Cut two pipe cleaners in half. You only need three halves for one snowflake.
- Twist the three halves together in the center, and then spread them to form the six arms of the beaded snowflake.
- Thread your choice of beads on the first arm.
- Before you thread the last bead on an arm, fold the end of the pipe cleaner down about one inch.
- Now, add the last bead on the arm to conceal the cut end of the pipe cleaner.
- Continue threading beads on the remaining arms.
These beaded snowflakes can easily be hung by threading a length of narrow ribbon, twine, or fishing line through one of the the loops at the end of an arm.
