Video DIY to make a $5 kid’s gift in 5 minutes
Materials:
- Gift bags
- Mini Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- Christmas ribbon
- Various candies
- Plush animal toy
- Special Christmas lollipop
- Clear packaging tape
Instructions:
First, open the gift bag and add some candies. Then, add a plush animal toy and a large lollipop.
Next, tape the bag with clear packaging tape.
Now, cut a length of ribbon and wrap it around the bag like a belt and tie a knot. Dovetail the ends.
Make the bow
Take some Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Mini Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other which will be your slipknot.
Now, make a simple bow by cutting a length of matching ribbon and laying the end right side down in the Mini Bowdabra. Bring the ribbon across to form a loop. Twist to make sure the right side is facing up and bring to the other side for a matching loop. Twist and make a small button loop.
Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand. Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove, separate the ends and tie a knot. Fluff and arrange the bow.
Use the excess wire to tie the bow to the ribbon wrapped around the package.
For the second kid’s gift with the mug, repeat all the steps as before, but add the mug to the bag first.
Now that you have made this adorable little $5 kid’s gift, you can alternate with all sorts of little candies, gloves, and more for uniquely different gifts.
