Today we are featuring this multi-use fall swag by Britt’s creations. This swag is amazing as door decor or just as amazing over a fireplace mantle. The uses are limitless!
1 fern spray
Twig bush (4 pieces)
Hot glue and glue gun
6 velvet orange pumpkins
2 sprays of fall berries
How to make the Fall Swag:
Hey y’all, today we are making a fall swag.
We are going to start with our fall fern and twigs. Place your amazing Bowdabra wire down first. We are going to cut our fall fern into two pieces and two twigs, and place one of each on both sides.
Make the bow
After the sprays are in place. We’re going to start with our Bowdabra ribbon for the swag. We are using the fall plaid ribbon and burlap ribbon, which can be purchased on the Bowdabra website.
We are going to start cutting each ribbon 24 in long. These will make 12-inch tails for our bow. Now it’s time to make our loops. We’re going to do one loop on each side of our Bowdabra with the plaid ribbon and cut the excess. Repeat this step with our burlap ribbon. You will need six total loops of each ribbon. Press all the ribbon down with your wand and grab the Bowdabra wire and place the two separate wires into the loop of the other side of the wire and pull tight. Flip swag over and tie wire tightly, then fluff each loop and make your bow full and beautiful.
I’m adding some fall embellishments to the swag. I found these beautiful fall berries and velvet pumpkins. I put a generous amount of hot glue on each embellishment and place them in between the fern and the swags.
