Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you how you can create a stunning fall centerpiece in just 5 minutes! Yes, I said 5 minutes to create a home décor you can be proud of. So let’s get started!
Materials:
- Autumn Plaid Ribbon ¾” yard (#7390)
- Wired Burlap Moss 12×2.5” (#1252)
- Autumn Plaid Ribbon 12×2.5” (#7390)
- Assorted Fall Picks
- 3/4y” #1252 Wired Burlap Orange 12×2.5″
- Bowdabra Bow Maker
- Bowdabra bow wire
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, lay in your first pick. Then, add the rose pick and follow with two pumpkin picks.
Finally, add the last rose pick in the opposite direction.
Now, take the small piece of green burlap ribbon and lay that in the Bowdabra. Follow with the plaid and then, the orange piece.
Make the bow
Now to make the bow take the longer piece of plaid ribbon and lay that right side down in the Bowdabra. Then, fold and twist making loops so that the right side is always facing up.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Dovetail the tail ends and clip off the extra wire. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut it at an angle away from the fold.
Fluff and arrange your centerpiece. Add pumpkins, candles and other table scatter for a stunning fall centerpiece!
