How to make a Fall Mini Bowdabra Lantern Swag… Here’s a simple & inexpensive way to decorate a mini lantern for Fall. You could easily squeeze at least 3 mini swags out of these Dollar Tree supplies, but we’re just going to be making 1 in this tutorial.
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, add two loose ferns cut from the bush, one on each side. Then, cut three stems of fall foilage from the floral bush, use two on each side of the swag and save the other one for the end.
Now, add the berry pieces of the floral bush on each side. Continue by adding the millet pieces from the bush. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Using one sunflower place it in the Bowdabra. Now, use the extra piece of fall foilage that you saved on the opposite side of the sunflower. Scrunch everything down.
Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the swag is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. Use the excess wire to tie the swag to your lantern. You have an adorable fall mini lantern swag to add to your decor.
