Double Ribbon Funky Bow (Starts at 1:38)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 2 ½” Brown Canvas Ribbon Roll
- Yellow Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off tails from the brown ribbon, creates 1 loop of about 4 ½”, and places it inside the Bowdabra.
- Next, he takes the yellow ribbon, creates 1 loop, snips it off, and places it on the Bowdabra.
- In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops using both of the ribbons simultaneously.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Tails Only Bow (Starts at 7:20)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Brown-White Striped Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off a bunch of long tails (5 tails about 12” – 14”) from the ribbon roll and places them inside the Bowdabra.
- Next, he cuts off a bunch of comparatively smaller tails (5 tails) from the same ribbon roll and keeps the smaller pieces on the top to create a flower design.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Fall/Christmas Bow Wreath (Starts at 13:38)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Plaid Ribbon Roll
- 14” Grapevine Wreath
- Filler Berry Sprays (Yellow, Rust Brown)
- Yellow Bittersweet Flower Sprays/Picks
- Hot Glue
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the plaid ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 9 loops.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops, cutting the tail ends at an angle, and curling up the tails.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some decorative picks such as yellow & rust brown filler berry sprays, and yellow bittersweet flower sprays with hot glue.
DIY Christmas Bow (Starts at 24:42)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Red Velvet Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the red velvet ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 6 loops (4 ½” – 5”).
- Using the same ribbon, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops (2 ½”) and 1 button loop.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
