How to make the perfect DIY door swag in minutes with Bowdabra
Supplies:
1- White sunflower pick or stem
32” of 2.5” wide natural color burlap ribbon
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow. You may optionally use a zip tie if desired.
Next, lay in a fall pick on each side of the Bowdabra. Then add a fall sign.
Now, lay the burlap ribbon and create a four-loop bow. Make the loops approximately 5 to 6 inches with two loops on each side.
Starting with a 6” tail add the 2 ½” wide green wired burlap ribbon and create loops back and forth. Make these loops about ½” smaller than the previous burlap loops. Finish with another 6” tail.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, add some sprigs of berries. Finally, add the millets.
Create more loops with 2 ½” wide orange net ribbon. Scrunch everything down with the wand and add the black and white buffalo plaid ribbon and finish it off with a large sunflower.
Now insert the two loose wires through the loop and pull tight. Turn to the back and tie several knots. Fluff and shape your DIY fall door swag.
