Materials:

One 8-inch Willow wreath (wrapped in copper or orange tulle optional)

Two Fall picks

One 42-inch strip of 1.5” W (non-wired or lightly wired) satin ribbon

Three 5  or 6 inch green strips of 1.5” wide satin ribbon with the ends cut to a point

One Green leaf from a silk rose stem

Hot glue

Mini Bowdabra

Bowdabra bow wire Ribbon:

Morex Yellow Daffodil 09609/15–645

Instructions:

First, make the ribbon rose.  Fold your yellow wire edge ribbon in half, then, make a triangle. Now, fold behind the triangle and fold over and under. Keep doing this till you reach the end.  Now grab onto both ends and pull. You will see a rose forming! Cut the excess end off. Set the rose aside.  It will stay since it is a wire-edge ribbon.

Wrap the willow wreath with the tulle ribbon and set it aside.

Cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, take the two fall picks and lay them in the Mini Bowdabra. Then, place in the green ribbon pieces that are already cut to pointed ends. (leaves) Then you may add a real floral leaf if desired as well.

Now, twist the ends of the ribbon rose you have already created and place it in the Mini Bowdabra.

Finally, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Adjust your bow and rose.  Use the excess wire to tie the bow onto your wreath.  You have a lovely ribbon rose wreath for fall!
