DIY Double Ribbon Bow (Starts at 1:50)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Green Ribbon Roll
- Black-White Gingham Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails (14” on either side) from the green and black-white gingham ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He takes the green ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 4 loops.
- Using the gingham ribbon, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops.
- Then he takes the green ribbon, flips it inside out, places it inside the Bowdabra, and creates 1 button loop.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Yellow Floral Bow Wreath (Starts at 8:00)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 1 ½” Yellow Ribbon Roll
- 14” Grapevine Wreath
- Yellow and White Flower Stem with Leaves sprays/picks
- Hot Glue
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the long tails from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He places the ribbon in, leaves an overhang, flips the Bowdabra, and creates 10 loops.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some decorative yellow and white flower stems with leaves sprays/picks with hot glue.
DIY Funky Bow (Starts at 16:30)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Red-Gold Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off a bunch of long tails (6 tails) about 24” – 26” from the ribbon roll.
- Next, he takes those pieces of ribbons, creates loops one by one, and places them on the Bowdabra.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Tails Only Bow (Starts at 22:40)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Lime Green Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off a bunch of long tails about 24” – 26” (6 tails) and cuts off 3 shorter tails from the ribbon roll.
- Next, he takes those pieces of ribbons, places all the long tails on the Bowdabra, and keeps the smaller pieces on the top to create a flower design.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
