DIY Classic Style Funky Bow (Starts at 1:36)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Black-White Striped Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off a bunch of tails (5) about 24” – 30” long from the ribbon roll.
- Next, he takes those pieces of ribbons, creates 3 ½” – 4” loops one by one, and places them on the Bowdabra.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Classic Style Bow Wreath (Starts at 9:05)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Red Velvet Ribbon Roll
- Grapevine Wreath
- Mini Red/Black Berry Picks or Sprays
- Hot Glue
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the long tails from the red velvet ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He places the ribbon in, leaves an overhang, flips the Bowdabra, and creates 12 loops.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and curling up the tails.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds a bunch of red/black berry picks with hot glue.
DIY Mini Bow (Starts At 18:30)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Mini Bowdabra
- Purple Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off a bunch of tails (6 long tails, 3 smaller tails) from the purple ribbon roll.
- Next, he takes those pieces of ribbons, places all the 6 long tails on the Bowdabra, and keeps the 3 smaller pieces on the top.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Dupioni Ribbon Bow (Starts At 23:55)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Sky-Blue Dupioni Silk Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He cuts off a bunch of long and short tails about 12”- 14” (total 9) from the dupioni ribbon roll.
- Next, he takes those pieces of ribbons, places all the long tails on the Bowdabra, and keeps the smaller pieces on the top to create a flower design.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
