DIY 3-2-1 Bow (Starts at 1:38)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Black-White Striped Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails (24” on each side) from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 6 loops (4 ½” – 5”).
- Using the same ribbon, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops (2 ½” ) and 1 button loop on the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Funky Bow (Starts at 7:30)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 2 ½” Candy Corn Ribbon Roll
- 1 ½” Orange Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop with the candy corn ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Then, he creates one loop with the orange ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- In the same fashion, he creates 2 more layers using both ribbons.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Sunflower Bow Wreath (Starts at 13:50)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Blue Ribbon Roll
- Grapevine Wreath
- Sunflower Stem with Leaves sprays/picks
- Hot Glue
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- Keeping one tail longer and the other one smaller, he creates one loop (4 ½”), cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- In the same fashion, he creates 2 more loops with the blue ribbon.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some decorative sunflower stems with leaves sprays/picks with hot glue.
DIY Mini Bow (Starts At 20:38)
Materials Required:
- 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
- Mini Bowdabra
- Orange Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the orange ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He places the ribbon in and creates 4 loops (1 ½” – 2”) and comparatively smaller 2 (button) loops on the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
- Nick finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Traditional Bow without tails (Starts at 23:40)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Yellow Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He places the ribbon, leaves an overhang, flips the Bowdabra, and creates 7 big loops (6”).
- Then he secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
- In the end, he finishes off by fluffing the loops.
