Kids will have loads of fun raiding the felt scraps and button box to make this felt flower summer bouquet.
Gather these Supplies:
- Scraps of felt
- Buttons
- Straws or coffee stirs
- Green patterned ribbon (optional)
- Scissors
- Large Flower Shapes template
- Medium and Small Flower Shapes template
- Hot glue
Here’s how to make the Felt Flowers:
- Print the flower shapes templates. Cut out the shapes that you want to use. Trace the shapes onto felt.
- Cut out the felt flower shapes.
- Arrange the flower shapes in stacks to form a felt flower. Select a button for each felt flower.
- Next, hot glue the layers of flower shapes together. Hot glue a button on the top.
- Hot glue a stem (soda straw, coffee stir, wooden skewer, etc.) in place on the back of the flower.
- Optionally, tie a 6″ length of green patterned ribbon on each stem.
- Arrange your felt flower summer bouquet in a vase or a piece of floral foam.
