How to make a Christmas in July floating pool arrangement centerpiece

Supplies:

  • 2 Pool Noodles
  • 2 Exfoliating/Loofah Poofs
  • 1 Hula Hoop
  • 4 (or more) Dollar Tree bushes
  • Greenery 2-3 single stems or 1-2 Dollar Tree bushes
  • 6”-8” Deco Mesh
  • Packing tape
  • Hot Glue
  • Embellishments of your choice
  • 2 Dollar Tree Lighted rose-optional
  • Driftwood-optional
  • LED tea lights-optional
  • Fishing line/monofilament
  • Large rock-for anchor
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Bowdabra Bow Wire/Zip Ties

Instructions:

First, unwrap the loofah poofs and feed them over the pool noodles. Next, coil the pool noodles into a circle and secure with some zip ties.  It does not to be perfectly round.

Now, cut the hula hoop in half.  Poke a hole in the pool noodle circle and insert the ends of the hula hoop.  Form an arch like shape.  Remove the hula hoop and wrap with 6 inch mesh all round in lieu of painting. Now, place the hula hoop back into the holes you made in the pool noodle.  You may secure with hot glue if desired.  You’ve made a faux floating basket for your floating pool arrangement.

Make the swag bow

Lay the mesh into the Bowdabra which you have either placed some Bowdabra bow wire or a zip tie.  Make two loops on each side.

Place the greenery bushes in the Bowdabra now. Then, add the dollar tree floral bushes.  Fold them in half so that there are three blooms on each side and lay into the Bowdabra.

Next, place some more mesh into the Bowdabra from the top forming a scrunchy bow.  Finally, add the excess roses.  Zip tie or tie your bow wire and  remove from the Bowdabra. Fluff your swag and place in the faux floating basket securing with zip ties

Finishing your Christmas in July floating pool arrangement centerpiece

To finish add the embellishments like ornaments and other doo dads.  You can even add lights if desired.  Optional: Decorate the handle with another scrunchy bow and flowers.

You have a gorgeous floating centerpiece for Christmas in July!
