Materials:

Instructions:

First, cut a fairly large piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next wrap the garland around the large pick for extra glitter.

Now, for the tails, take the long piece of red ribbon, find the center, and place it in the Bowdabra.  Do the same with the long piece of polka dot ribbon.

Next, take the holiday print ribbons and lay them into the Bowdabra.

Now, take approximately 2 ½” yards of 4” wide red ribbon, twist it, and place it in the Bowdabra. Fold it back and forth making loops and twisting each time. (Fold, twist, and scrunch it in the Bowdabra)

Repeat the folding and twisting with the 2 ½” yards of polka dot ribbon making loops as you go.

Push everything down with the Bowdabra wand.

Now, repeat the folding, twisting, and scrunching with the sparkle print ribbon. Make the loops a wee bit smaller.  Push everything down with the wand.

Finally, take the swirl ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra, in the same manner, making loops as you go.

Finishing the tree topper bow

Carefully while holding the bow down, insert the two loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Separate the ends, bring it around to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie another know for extra security.

Fluff and shape the bow by pulling the loops apart and arranging them in a pleasing manner.  Fluff on a flat surface for easy shaping.  You have a perfect tree topper bow or use it for a door bow.
