DIY Funky Summer Bow (Starts at 2:18)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Red & White Striped Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop (3½” – 4”) with the red & white striped ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates another loop, cuts it off, and places it on the alternate side of the Bowdabra.
- In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops on the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
3-2-1 Bow (Starts at 8:02)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Lime Green & fuchsia Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He places the ribbon in, leaves a little bit of overhang, and creates 6 loops (4”) on the Bowdabra.
- Next, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops (2 ½” – 3”) and creates 1 button loop.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the tail ends at an angle.
DIY Summer Bow Wreath (Starts at 13:10)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Purple, Pink, and Orange Square Plaid Ribbon Roll
- Grapevine Wreath
- Purple Flower, Pink Flower, Pansies Flower Stem With Leaves Sprays/Picks
- Hot Glue
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the long tails from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 10 loops (3 ½” – 4”).
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some decorative purple flowers, pink flowers, pansies flowers & leaves picks with hot glue.
Double Ribbon Bow (Starts at 23:40)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Black Satin Ribbon Roll
- Yellow & White Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop with the black satin ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates another loop with the yellow-white ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Using both the ribbons alternatively, he creates 4 more loops on the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
