Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you how to make three different styles of a two-loop bow the easy with the help of the amazing Bowdabra. Sandy shows you how in the regular Bowdabra and the Mini Bowdabra. This bow couldn’t be any easier! So let’s get started.
First, using the Mini Bowdabra, place the hair bow tool and ruler on the towers.
Then, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Now, take the pink dotted ribbon to which you have dovetailed the ends and fold it in half to find the center. Then take the wrong side and make a little mountain fold in the middle and scrunch that facing the right side down into the Bowdabra.
To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.
Fold one side of the tail of the ribbon over measuring to the 2 ¼” mark and making a mountain fold in the middle, scrunch into the Bowdabra
Repeat with the opposite side of the ribbon.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Pull the tails down and arrange the bow.
First, add the Bow wire to the Mini Bowdabra with the hair bow tool and ruler in the same way as before. This time place the short tail piece which has already been dovetailed into the Bowdabra pinching to form a mountain fold.
Then, take the wrong side of the blue dot ribbon and lay that in the Bowdabra. Come across and around and scrunch the opposite side into the Bowdabra. Measure to make sure the loops are even at the same size and make a little mountain fold scrunch down in the center.

First, add the bow wire into the regular Bowdabra as you did in the Mini Bowdabra.
Using a wider (1 ½” -2 ½” grosgrain ribbon, place the right side down into the Bowdabra. Come across and around and scrunch in the opposite end. Measure to make sure the loops are even by raising them on the outside of the towers.
Finally, finish by using a slip knot to tie the bow, and remove it from the Bowdabra. Turn to the back and tie a knot and double knot.
