6 DIY Summer Bow & Wreath Ideas for Your Home – Bowdabra Tutorial

Traditional Bow (Starts At 1:35)
Materials required:
100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Black Satin Ribbon Roll
Process:
Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
After cutting off the tails long (24” on either side) from the black satin ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
He places the ribbon in, leaves a little bit of overhang, and creates 10 loops on the Bowdabra.
Next, he secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Funky Bow (Starts At 5:40)
Materials required:
100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Black Satin Ribbon Roll

Process:
Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
He creates one loop with the black satin ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops on the Bowdabra.
He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
Present Bow (Starts At 10:06)
Materials required:
100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Yellow-White Ribbon Roll
Present Bow
Process:
Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 15 loops (5” – 5 ½”).
Then, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
He finishes off by fluffing all the loops.
DIY Bow Wreath (Starts at 14:40)
Materials required:
100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Red-White Check Ribbon Roll
Grapevine Wreath (14” Oval shape)
Red Flower Picks
Peony leaves Picks
Hot Glue

Process:
Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
After cutting off the long tails from the red-white check ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
He places the ribbon in, leaves an overhang, flips the Bowdabra, and creates 6 big loops and 1 button loop.
He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds a bunch of red flower picks, a few peony leaves picks with hot glue.
DIY Tails Only Bow (Starts At 23:16)
Materials Required
100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
Mini Bowdabra
Red-White Check Ribbon Roll
DIY Tails Only Bow
Process:
Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
He cuts off a bunch of tails (6) from the red-white check ribbon roll and cuts the dovetail pattern on both the tail ends.
Next, he places all of them together on the Bowdabra.
He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
He finishes off by fluffing the loops.
Multicolored Ribbon Funky Bow (Starts At 26:53)
Materials required:
100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Multicolored Ribbon Roll
Multicolored Ribbon Funky Bow
Process:
Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, creates 2 loops, and cuts it off.
In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops.
He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
