Are you into the latest trending farmhouse wall decor? Well, here’s an easy Bowdabra DIY wall decor piece that you will want to make!! All of these items except the quilting strips came from Dollar General. I found the strips at Tuesday Morning, but you can easily cut out your own from fabric, old clothing or linens. You can make this Farmhouse Rag Bow style swag to be used on its own or attach it to a Farmhouse Wall decor piece or a wreath.
First, cut some Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it into the Bowdabra.
Next, begin placing your long strips of quilting fabric or other fabric into the Bowdabra for the tails.
Now, start making the loops with the other pieces of fabric and lace. Keep adding loops to make your bow as large as you want. Add the lemon or focal filler.
To make the swag use a zip tie since the florals will be very thick. Fold the florals in half before laying in the Bowdabra to form a swag, with both sides even. Lay in your flowers as you desire, mixing colors and textures. Tie it up tight with your zip tie.
To finish, attach the swag to the rag bow and either a wreath or a farmhouse wall decor piece. Fluff and arrange your bow.
