How to make DIY 4th of July Patriotic Day Wreaths and Bows

As the 4th of July is approaching soon, let’s bring those festive vibes to your front door this year by making some DIY 4th of July patriotic day wreaths and bows. It’s the perfect way to show off your patriotic pride right in your entryway. DIY Patriotic Bow Wreath (Starts at 1:22)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Blue-Red-White Check Ribbon Roll
  • 18” Grapevine Wreath
  • Bunch of blue/red/white Rose Picks
  • Hot Glue

 

DIY Patriotic Bow Wreath

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the long tails from the blue-red-white check ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He places the ribbon in, leaves an overhang, flips the Bowdabra, and creates 10 loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  5. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds a bunch of blue/red/white rose picks with hot glue.

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He creates one loop with the rose pink ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  3. In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops on the Bowdabra.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

DIY 3-2-1 Bow (Starts At 12:00)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Black & White Buffalo Check Ribbon Roll

 

DIY 3-2-1 Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails long from the black & white buffalo check ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He places the ribbon in, leaves a little bit of overhang, and creates 3 loops (3 ½”) on each side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops (2 ½”) and creates 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
  6. He finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

DIY Gift Bow (Starts At 21:38)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Black & White Gingham Ribbon Roll

 

DIY Gift Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 10 0r 11 loops.
  3. Then, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  4. He finishes off by fluffing all the loops.

 

Patriotic Ribbon Bow (Starts At 24:55)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Blue-Red-White Check Ribbon Roll

 

Patriotic Ribbon Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, creates 2 loops, and cuts it off.
  3. In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

DIY Tails Only Bow (Starts At 28:30)

Materials Required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Multicolored Ribbon Roll

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He cuts off a bunch of tails (6) from the multicolored ribbon roll and cuts the dovetail pattern on both the tail ends.
  3. Next, he places all of them together on the Bowdabra.
  4. He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  5. He finishes off by fluffing the loops.
