Follow along with Britt’s Creations while she designs a giant bow for a Military Deployment wall. This yellow military deployment support bow is in recognition of our American troops deployed overseas.
2.5 inch yellow ribbon 18 ft long
Twine or Bowdabra bow wire
Good pair of fabric scissors
First, begin by cutting your twine or wire and folding it in half then placing in the center of your Bowdabra.
Next, grab your ribbon and cut 48 inches of ribbon, this will be your tail. Fold the ribbon in half and load the center of the ribbon tails into your Bowdabra.
Now, it is time to start your loops of your bow. Load your ribbon into the Bowdabra leaving one inch over hang on the left side and the excess ribbon on the right. Make your first loop 8 inches, twist the ribbon and load it in the Bowdabra and make your second loop.
Measure both loops by pulling them forward and together to make sure they are even.
Continue with 5 loops on each side ending with the 11th loop being your button or center of your bow. Take your twine or bowdabra bow wire and load the two loose ends into the hole. Pull tight and separate the twine or wire and tie a knot on the back side of your bow. Fluff you loops to make bow full & beautiful!
