Bowdabra creator and super crafter Sandy Sandler is here today to show you how to create the most beautiful spring or summer swag in minutes with Bowdabra! Follow along with the quick and easy steps and in no time, you will have a beautiful wag to beautify your home. Perk up the winter blues and rake in the compliments!
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Now, take your deco mesh and scrunch that into the Bowdabra.
Next, take your floral picks and lay them into the Bowdabra, facing the opposite directions on each side of the Bowdabra.
Now, twist and place the lavender ribbon in the Bowdabra. Twist and bring it across and make a loop and then make a matching loop on the other side. Bring up the loops together to make sure they are about the same size. Continue folding and twisting to make loops till you reach the end of your ribbon. You should have three loops on each side
Next, put the yellow ribbon and spring daisies ribbons together. Working with both ribbons at the same time, twist and lay them into the Bowdabra. Begin making loops back and forth just a little bit smaller than the previous lavender ribbon loops. Continue making loops till you almost reach the end of your ribbons. In the last loop make a smaller button loop.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Fluff and arrange your bow. Use this beautiful spring or summer swag on your door or even as a centerpiece!
