To make the Bowdabra bow for your spring rain boots door hanger
Cut an 18″ piece of Bowdabra Bow Wire, and fold it in half. Lay the folded bow wire in the Bowdabra, tucking loop and ends under. Because the ribbon has a print on one side going in the same direction, cut two separate 8″ tails, creasing one end down into the Bowdabra.
Crease the other 8″ tail down into the Bowdabra. The rainboot design on the tails should be going in the same direction.
Keep the remaining ribbon on the roll, creasing the end and placing it down into the Bowdabra. Fold a 5.5″ loop, creasing, and twisting the center of ribbon down into the Bowdabra
.Take the ribbon on the opposite side and fold another 5.5″ loop, creasing and twisting the center down into the Bowdabra. The rainboot designs should be facing the same direction.
Continue making two more loops on each side slightly shorter, as before. Folding and creasing the center and twisting the ribbon down into the Bowdabra.
And finally, make a small center or button loop to cover the bow wire in the finished bow, cutting off excess ribbon. Scrunch down the bow loops with the Bowdabra Wand.
While the bow is still in the Bowdabra, thread the loose ends of the bow wire through the loop and pull tightly while gently pulling the bow out.
Then take the wire around to the back of the bow and tie in a double knot and cut off the excess bow wire.
Dovetail the ribbon ends by folding the end ribbon together and cut at the fold on an angle down to the opposite ribbon edge. Fluff and straighten the loops on the bow.
Glue on the bow using hot glue at the base of the flowers and top of the rain boots design.
