Display your decorated eggs in style with the Easter Bunny Egg Stand that is made from a toilet paper roll!! It’s so cute, you’ll want more than one.
Here are the supplies that you’ll need:
- One 8½” x 11″ sheet of colored cardstock cut to the sizes given in the instructions
- Double-sided tape
- White glue
- Scissors
- Two empty toilet paper rolls
- Two googly eyes
- Black marker
Here’s how to make the Easter bunny egg stand:
- Cut the cardstock to these sizes: one piece each 5¾” x 4¼” and 5¾” x ¾”; two pieces each 6″ x 1″.
- Cut a ¾” width from one of the toilet rolls.
- Add double-sided tape to one 4¼” edge of the largest piece.
- Adhere this edge to the toilet roll. Wrap the paper around the roll and secure the second edge with double-sided tape.
- Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to cover the ¾” section of toilet roll.
- Now, we’ll make the ears. Add double-sided tape to one narrow edge of one of the 6″ x 1″ pieces, and on the other piece add adhesive to both narrow edges.
- Fold the ears in half with the adhesive on the outside.
- Join the ears and adhere the ears in place inside the toilet roll as shown.
- Adhere the second ear in place on the inside of the toilet roll opposite the first ear.
- Glue on googly eyes and draw nose and mouth with marker.
- Glue egg stand section to front of bunny.
- Your Easter Bunny Egg Stand is ready for business.
