With a bit of adult help even your youngest artist can create this easy paper Easter egg wreath. It all starts with a paper plate!!
Here are the supplies for the Paper Easter Egg Wreath:
- Paper plate
- Scraps of pastel colored cardstock
- Scraps of pastel patterned paper/cardstock
- White glue or double-sided tape
- Scissors
- 12″ length of ribbon
- 16″ length of ribbon
- Paper Egg Template
Let’s make the wreath:
- Cut the center out of a paper plate.
- Print the Paper Egg Template, then cut eggs from pastel colored cardstock and patterned paper. You can also decorate the blank templates with your own designs.
- Pierce two holes at the top of the paper plate for the hanging loop. Thread the 12″ length of ribbon through the holes, and tie with a knot.
- Hide the knot by sliding it to the back side of the plate.
- Glue the first layer of eggs to the paper plate. I used all solid colored eggs.
- Then, glue on the second layer of paper eggs.
- Tie a bow with the 16″ length of ribbon, and glue it to the top center of the wreath.
- Your paper Easter egg wreath is ready for display. Happy Easter!!
