How to- Make a Star Wars themed lightsaber wedding bouquet
Supplies:
(Supplies may vary because of sizes, colors, etc… The list here is for this particular wedding.)
- Assorted bushes & garlands of lambs & other flocked foliage
- small piece of floral foam
- a dab of hot glue
- zip tie
- Large Bowdabra
- Silver Metallic Spray Paint
- Plastic flashlights
- Ping Pong balls
- 2-liter soda lid
- Black Sharpie
- E-6000 glue
- Floral Tape (Optional)
Instructions for Light Saber:
First, gut the flash light/s and remove the switch, glass & glass cover. Next, spray paint until it is completely coated. Use E-6000 and glue the soda lid to the bottom with the open end facing outward. E-6000 the ping pong ball to the open end of the lid. When completely dried, add the switch & glass cover back on. The switch may need a dab of E-6000.
Bouquet Instructions:
Place a zip tie in the Large Bowdabra. Now, lay in some foliage. Then, start layering the flowers on top of the greens. As you’re layering the flowers, break them up by sizes and colors. Once you have the desired amount of flowers in the Bowdabra Bouquet, add the same kind and amount of the greenery foliage as you did on the bottom.
Gently zip tie the bouquet, but not extremely tight yet. Remove it from the Bowdabra & give it a little bit of fluffing and shaping. Once it’s all in place, then you can tighten the zip tie.
Clip the excess zip tie & trim the Bouquet stems all evenly. You can use floral tape on them if you wish now. Place some hot glue on the stems and push them straight down into the floral foam inside the flashlight/lightsaber. Do a touch-up fluffing & shaping one more time and that’s how you make a Star Wars-themed wedding bouquet with Bowdabra!
