This St. Patrick’s snow globe uses gold coins and shamrocks in place of the “snow” in traditional snow globes. With a bit of adult help, preschoolers and kindergarteners will have success with this project.
St. Patrick’s Day snow globe
Here are the supplies:
- White paper plate
- Clear plastic plate
- St. Patrick’s Snow Globe Cut-Outs template
- Glue or double-sided tape
- Hot glue gun and hot glue
Let’s make the Snow Globe:
- Print and cut out the snow globe template.
- Glue or tape the pot to the paper plate positioned as shown below.
- Glue or tape a couple of coins and shamrocks to the paper plate.
- Lay the remaining coins and shamrocks on the paper plate, but don’t glue them.
- Run a bead of hot glue along the outer edge of the paper plate. Position the clear plastic plate upside down on the hot glue.
- Let the hot glue set up completely, then, shake your St. Patrick’s snow globe and watch the coins fly!!
