Bowdabra designer, Joette shows you how to make this easy DIY Valentine’s Day Candy Bouquet with Bowdabra and inexpensive dollar store supplies! This bouquet will cost you around $12! So let’s get started.
First, fill your clear vase with the monkey, weight, glitter heart on a stem & optional rose petals. (The weight is very important because this bouquet will be too heavy… You’ll need it for weight & balance.)
Next, wrap the styrofoam on the Mylar paper & wedge it into the top of the vase. Add shreds to cover the foam.
Then, arrange the coffee filter poofs. (There will be 2 filters per poof.) Add skewer stick to the back of the candy’s and adjust the length L’s of the sticks. Arrange the candy and add the stick balloon in the center of the bouquet.
Finally, add at least 3 roses from the bush, placing 1 in the front/center & 2 on the sides to fill in any spaces.
Make a bow & tie it to the front rose with the Bowdabra wire. Make a 2nd bow (you can use an optional Valentine garland for this bow) & tie it with Bowdabra wire to the neck of the stick balloon. Try to fluff the stick balloon bow & make it go around all sides of the balloon.
You have a beautiful finished Valentine’s Day Candy Bouquet! That’s all there is to this festive bouquet!
