How to gift wrap a wine bottle
Materials List:
20 in red scrunchy foil ribbon
Poinsettia Pick
1252.60/10-613 Burlap Wired Black 2 ½ in x 10 yd. 36 in
98509/10-613 Princess Glitter Black 1 ½ in x 10 yd. 36 in
Instructions:
First, fold the scrunchy ribbon in half. Then, lay the wine bottle in the middle of the folded ribbon. Bring the ribbon up to the neck of the bottle and scrunch together. Next, take another piece of the scrunchy ribbon of equal length, fold in half a wrap around the bottle the opposite directions, and scrunch both ribbon pieces together.
Now, take a piece of Bowdabra wire and fold it in half. Use it as a slipknot to tightly tie to the top of the bottle. Then, tie the excess wire in a bow so that it will be easy to unwrap their gift. Set aside.
Make the bow
Cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Now, take a piece of the red scrunchy ribbon and lay it in the Bowdabra. Next, take the black burlap wired ribbon, twist it, and insert it into the Bowdabra. This makes sure the wrong side of the ribbon is facing towards the inside. Twist and make two loops to form a bow.
Add the poinsettia and then, holding everything down tight, pull the loose wires through the loop for your slipknot. Take the bow out of the Bowdabra. Separate the wires, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Shape and arrange the bow.
To finish, use the excess wire to tie the bow to the ribbon-wrapped wine bottle. You have a beautiful gift-wrapped wine bottle.
