Sandy Sandler the creator of the Bowdabra is here today to show you how you can make the most gorgeous summer wreath in literally minutes with the Bowdabra! Summer-ize your décor with this beautiful wreath to welcome friends and neighbors!
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take the 19” length burlap hot lime ribbon from the Bowdabra ribbon kit, which you have already dovetailed, and lay it in the Bowdabra. (To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle towards the fold.) Then, lay in the 14” length of burlap hot lime ribbon.
Now, take the 48” piece of lime burlap ribbon which is available in our spring ribbon kit, and lay it in the Bowdabra. Fold and twist to make loops back and forth.
Next, take the white satin ribbon and lay that into the Bowdabra. Fold and twist to make loops as you did with the burlap ribbon.
Then, take the gold mesh and insert from vertically pushing it into the Bowdabra like an accordion.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Fluff and arrange your bow. Use the excess bow wire to tie the bow to the prepared wreath. Set the wreath aside and take out the Mini Bowdabra.
Cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half and insert it into the Mini bowdabra.
Now, lay in the three pieces of wired green grosgrain ribbon. (These will be the leaves)
Next, scrunch in the green tulle. Use the Bowdabra wand to scrunch everything down. Lay the four rounded satin pieces into the Mini Bowdabra. Finally, place in the pieces of rhinestone mesh. Scrunch everything down in the Mini Bowdabra with the wand. Take the wire and pull it through the loop and pull tight while it is still in the Mini Bowdabra. Remove, turn to the back and tie a knot.
Arrange the flower and then tie it onto the bottom of the wreath with the excess bow wire.
