Let’s make Bows!
Double Ribbon Bow (Starts at 2:24)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 1 ½” Fuchsia Ribbon Roll
- 1 ½” Water Melon striped Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- Using fuchsia ribbon he creates one loop (3½”- 4”), cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Next, he takes the Water Melon Striped Ribbon, creates one loop (3½”- 4”) with two tails (6-8”) on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Using the same process, he creates more 2 loops with the fuchsia ribbon and 2 loops with the Water Melon striped Ribbon alternatively.
- He creates a total of 6 loops on the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
3-2-1 Bow (Starts at 8:52)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 1 ½” Fuchsia Ribbon Roll
- 1 ½” Water Melon striped Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails(20”) from the Fuchsia ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
- Using the Water Melon striped ribbon, he creates 2 loops (3”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
DIY Bow Wreath (Starts at 14:05)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Burlap Ribbon Roll
- Hot glue
- Grapevine wreath
- Artificial greenery and orange poppy flower decorative picks
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the Burlap ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Using the same process, he creates 4 more loops right into the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some artificial greenery and orange poppy flower decorative picks with hot glue.
Present Bow with Ocean Blue Ribbon (Starts at 25:16)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Ocean Blue Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He takes the ocean blue ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 10 loops (4”).
- Then, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
Simple Bow tie (Starts at 28:36)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Mini Bowdabra
- Red-White Polka Dot Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the Red-White Polka Dot ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates 2 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra using the same ribbon.
- Next, he creates 1 medium loop (2 ½”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
