First, take the 1 ½’ red ribbon and wrap it around the cowboy hat.
Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Now, take the gold deco mesh and lay it in the Bowdabra. Bring it around and under, then scrunch the middle into the center. You have a pretty mesh bow.
Next, take the wired red, and blue, ribbon tails and lay them in the Bowdabra.
Then take the 2 ½” x 45” tribute ribbon #667 and fold it in half and insert it in the Bowdabra upside down so that the pattern is underneath. Bring the other side of the ribbon over and make sure the right side is up and scrunch it down into the Bowdabra. Next, take the opposite side of the ribbon and make an X. Then take the lower loop and push it in the bowdabra. Finally, take the upper loop and scrunch that in.
You will have all the flags facing in the correctly.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Finally, take a small piece of the red ribbon and attach it all around the center of the bow with hot glue or zots. Shape and arrange the loops and bow. Using a hot glue gun attach the bow to the back of the hat.
