Materials:

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, take the red deco mesh and insert it into the Bowdabra.  Push it in until you have used it all folding over the end to cover the raw edges.

Now, add the dollar tree pinwheels into the Bowdabra.  Then add the plaid, gingham and burlap ribbon tails.

Next, take the 82” length of plaid of ribbon and insert into the Bowdabra right side down. Make a loop.  Continue making matching loops folding and twisting as you go.  Then take the 53” piece of red gingham and insert into the Bowdabra as you did with the plaid ribbon, folding and twisting as you make your loops.

Finishing your bow

Finally, take the 20” piece of royal blue burlap ribbon, insert and make loops finishing with a smaller center button loop.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn it to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Finishing your pool noodle wreath

Shape and arrange your bow and pinwheels.  Put the bow aside.

Take your pool noodle which you have already created a circle by duct taping the ends together.  Wrap it with the plaid ribbon. Attach the end of the ribbon with a permanent zot or a dab of hot glue.  Now, tie the bow onto the wreath.

As a finishing touch, open and add the patriotic fan to the wreath with some permanent zots.
