DIY Funky Bow (Starts at 2:06)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Red Ribbon Roll
- Blue Ribbon Roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the red and blue ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop, two tails with the blue ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop, two tails with the red ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- In the same fashion, he creates more 2 loops with the red and blue ribbon alternatively.
- To secure the bow, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and makes slip knots.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Traditional Bow (Starts at 8:40)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 11/2 blue gingham ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the blue gingham ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates 11 loops on the Bowdabra to give it a traditional bow design.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Chequered Ribbon Funky Bow (Starts at 12:37)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- 21/2 red-white-blue chequered ribbon roll
- 11/2 Red gingham ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He takes the chequered ribbon and creates one loop with two tails on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- He places the red gingham ribbon roll on the Bowdabra, creates a loop, and cuts it off.
- Then, he takes the chequered ribbon and creates one loop with two tails on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Using the red gingham ribbon, he creates one loop with two tails on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- In this way, he creates a total of 4 loops right into the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
DIY Summer Wreath with a Funky Bow (Starts at 16:20)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Red gingham ribbon roll
- Hot glue
- Grapevine wreath
- White roses and red flower decorative picks
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the red gingham ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He places the ribbon inside, creates 1 loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Again, he places the ribbon, creates a loop, and snips it off.
- He repeats the process 3 more times and creates a total of 5 loops.
- To secure the bow, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and makes slip knots.
- He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely with hot glue to the wreath and adds some red flower decorative picks and white roses too.
Voila! You made a beautiful DIY Summer wreath!
DIY Mini Bow (Starts at 25:17)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Mini Bowdabra
- Red-white polka-dotted ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the Red-white polka-dotted ribbon roll, he places the tails right into the Bowdabra.
- Using the same ribbon, he creates 4 loops on the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
- To secure the bow, he brings the wire from one side to another and puts a slip knot.
- He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
