Instructions:
Let’s begin with drawing circles on foam sheets using a 12″ template to do so. You can use different size circles to make smaller or larger holders.
Next, cut the circles out.
To add decorative ribbon trim, measure one-inch segments around the circles and make 1/2″ slits using a craft knife at the 1″ marks.
Next, cut 2 – 36″ strips of ribbon to insert, over and under, into the slits around the circles.
Then, fold the circles in half and insert one folded circle into the middle of the other folded circle creating a cone shape. Doesn’t this shape look awesome!
Add hot glue inside the outer circle curves to seal the circles together, creating an adorable floral bouquet holder.
To make a decorative bow for the floral bouquet holder:
Insert an 18″ piece of bow wire folded in half into the Bowdabra, tucking ends under. Then cut three, 20″ pieces of ribbon, pinching the center of each ribbon and inserting down into the Bowdabra.
Next, leave the 1.5″ ribbon on the roll and crease the end and insert it down into the Bowdabra. Then fold over a 4″ inch loop, twisting the ribbon to show the design side and press into the Bowdabra.
Then fold and twist ribbon making a matching loop on the opposite side, down into the Bowdabra.
Continue folding and twisting loops for a total of 2 loops on each side, placing them into the Bowdabra. Use the Bowdabra wand to scrunch down the loops as you make them.
Do the same for two more different designs of ribbon. Continue to use the Bowdabra wand to scrunch the loops down as you add them . . .
for a total of 12 loops – six on each side – cutting off excess ribbon after each style of ribbon loops.
While the bow is still in the Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the bow wire through the loop, pulling tightly . . .
and tying in a knot at the back, while gently pulling it out. Cut off excess bow wire.
Dovetail the ends of the ribbon by folding all the ribbons together and cutting them at an angle from the fold down to the corner tip.
Then fluff all of the bow loops . . .
and glue onto the center of the floral bouquet holder. Use command strips on the back to hang.
Add your favorite blooms for the prettiest look ever!
