Traditional Bow (Starts at 1:54)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Watermelon Fuchsia-Green ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the Watermelon Fuchsia-Green ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- He creates 13 loops on the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
Funky Bow Wreath (Starts at 6:23)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Black-white striped ribbon roll
- Black ribbon roll
- Hot glue
- Grapevine wreath
- Artificial greenery and white flower decorative picks
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails from the Black-white striped and Black ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
- Using the Black-white striped ribbon, he creates 1 big loop with a tail about 6-8” on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- Again, he creates 1 loop with the black ribbon with a tail about 6-8” on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- In this fashion, he adds 2 more loops with both the ribbons.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
- In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some greenery and white flower decorative picks with hot glue.
Yellow-white Polka Dotted Ribbon Bow
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Yellow-white Polka Dotted Ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He takes the yellow-white polka dotted ribbon and places it right into the Bowdabra. Then he creates 2 loops, cuts off the tail.
- He places another tail inside the Bowdabra and keeps repeating the process.
- In this fashion, he creates 6 loops, 1 button loop, and 12 tails.
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
Mini DIY Bow (Starts at 15:07)
Materials required:
- 100-yard bow wire
- Mini Bowdabra
- Blue ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- After cutting off the tails (6”-8”), he places the tail right into the Bowdabra.
- Using the blue ribbon, he adds 2 loops on the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
- To secure the bow he brings the wire from one side to another and puts a slip knot.
- He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
Double Ribbon DIY Bow (Starts at 23:43)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Large Bowdabra
- Light Sky Blue and White Check Gingham Ribbon Roll
- Blue ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- Using the Light Sky Blue and White Check Gingham Ribbon Roll, he creates 6 loops on the Bowdabra.
- Using the blue ribbon, he creates one inch smaller 6 loops and 1 button loop on the Bowdabra
- He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
- He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
Mini Funky Bow (starts at 27:25)
Materials required:
- 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
- Mini Bowdabra
- White Satin ribbon roll
Process:
- Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
- He creates one loop with two tails on either end, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
- In this fashion, he creates a total of 3 loops right into the Bowdabra.
- He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
