How to make a stunning floral door swag
Materials:
- Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- Two 21” x 34” blue mesh
- Two peony picks
- One 1” x 69” rose-filled ribbon
- Six rose picks
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, fold one of the pieces of the mesh diagonally so that it is wider. Then, insert it into the Bowdabra. Now, for the second piece of mesh just insert it as is. Just scrunch it down into the Bowdabra.
Add the picks to your door swag
Now, add the peony picks. Lay them in opposite directions.
Then, add the rose-filled ribbon. Begin folding and twisting making sure that the right side of the ribbon is facing out, creating your bow loops.
Finally, add the six roses that are wired together in the Bowdabra. Scrunch everything down. Then, take the two loose wires and put them through the loop, and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Double knot it.
Fluff and arrange your bow. Cut the loose wires off the back or leave them long to tie onto a wreath. Display DIY this gorgeous door swag with pride! #Abrabowdabra #Bowdabra
