Elegant winter wreath bow
Materials:
- Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- 2 pc. 1 ½” x 20” blue sheer wire edge ribbon
- 2 pc. 2” x 20” gold mesh wire edge ribbon
- 5” x 66” blue wire edge ribbon
- 2 pc. 1 ½” x 29” blue sheer wire edge ribbon
- 2 pc. 1 ½” x 29” gold mesh wire edge ribbon
- Catherine’s collection floral pick
Instructions:
First, take some gold Bowdabra bow wire. Fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra and tuck the ends underneath so they stay out of the way while you make your wreath bow.
Next, take the blue sheer ribbon and fold it in half to find the center and place it in the Bowdabra. Then, find the center of the gold mesh ribbon and lay that in as well. Now, repeat this process with the second two pieces of the blue sheer ribbon and the gold mesh ribbon.
Next, insert the 5” blue ribbon into the Bowdabra. Then, fold and twist to make loops making sure the right side is always facing up. You will have two loops on each side.
Now, take the blue sheer wire edge ribbon and the gold mesh ribbon and place them together. Insert them into the Bowdabra with the right side of the ribbon facing down. Bring it across and under and insert the end into the Bowdabra. You will have a two-loop bow with the co-joined ribbons. Repeat with the second pair of ribbons. Now, push everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Add the floral pick
Then, insert the floral pick in the Bowdabra. Take the loose wires from the Bowdabra bow wire you folded in the beginning and insert it through the loop. Pull tight while the Bow is still in the Bowdabra. Take the bow out of the Bowdabra, turn to the back and tie a knot. Double knot it.
To finish, fluff and arrange the bow. You now have an elegant winter wreath bow that you can use for a wreath, centerpiece, or package bow for a winter wedding.
