First, take approximately 33” of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. Fold the ends underneath to stay out of the way while you are making the bow for your Halloween swag.
Next, take 33” of the wired skull ribbon and fold it in half to find the center and insert it into the Bowdabra. This will be the tails.
Then, take about 28” of the sheer ribbon and insert into the Bowdabra on which you have already dovetailed the ends. (To dovetail, fold the ends in half and cut towards the fold.)
Next, take another 25” piece of the skull ribbon and dovetail the ends. Now, fold the ribbon in half to find the center and insert it into the Bowdabra.
Now, take about 22” of the deco mesh and insert it into the Bowdabra. Then, take about 38 inches of the deco mesh insert one end in the Bowdabra. Bring the other end across and fold this end under and push in the center to make a large bow. Use the Bowdabra wand to push everything down.
Now take the right side of the 2” wide glitter ribbon and insert the right side and twist so that the wrong side is on the inside of the bow and make a loop. Continue twisting and making loops until you use up the length of the ribbon.
Take more skull ribbon insert with the right side down make a loop across and push in the center to make a bow. Repeat this step with the skull ribbon 3 times. Finally, scrunch in a piece of the orange deco mesh.
Now, Insert the witch’s hands, with each facing opposite sides. Finish the bow by adding two small tails of skull ribbon on which you have already dovetailed the ends.
Insert the two loose bow wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back and tie a knot. Now, fluff and arrange the bow.
This adorable Halloween swag looks amazing either hung on a door or archway and equally well as a centerpiece. Happy Ghoulish Halloween!
