Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today to show you how to create quick and easy Halloween Treat Bags.
Supplies:
Bowdabra Bow Making Tool
Bow Wire
Mesh Ribbon
I love creating fun treat bags for the holidays and Halloween is no exception.
I started by filling cellophane bags with packages of cookies, but I also could have used assorted candies.
First, I took some black mesh that I wanted to use and thought it would be fun to see what kind of bow I could create. Next, I placed the bow wire in the channel and tucked it underneath while I created the bow. Leaving a 4″ tail, I placed the mesh in the channel and created a simple one looped bow, twisting the mesh as it went through the Bowdabra.
I cut the edges of the tails, then pulled on the bow wire and tie it off.
Creating a one looped bow means you can make it as big or small as you want. Since I was using mesh, the bows were very light weight and perfect for treat bags.
I tied the bows to the treat bags.
Finally, I twirled the excess bow wire for a fun finishing touch.
Honestly, these one looped bows were created in minutes and the treat bags were ready in no time at all.
Thanks for stopping by.
