Fall floral Arrangement
Materials:
- Bowdabra Bowdabra
- Bowdabra Bow Wire
- 1 Vase
- 38x4in Burlap Wired Ribbon
- 13 in Bowdabra Rhinestone Mesh Ribbon
- (2) 10 inch x 2 inch strips of Burlap Mesh
- 12” x 4” piece of sheer mesh with dovetailed ends
- (2) 24x2in Fall Plaid Ribbon Sunflower Pick
- Two leaf picks
- Two Floral Decorative Picks
- 4x11in Sparkle Burlap
First, take a Catherine’s collection pick and take a wired leaf and wrap it around the pick. Then, repeat adding a leaf to a second pick. Add the two picks to the floral vase. Set aside.
Make the Bow
Now, cut approximately 30 inches of Bowdabra bow wire. Fold the wire in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. Tuck the ends underneath so they stay out of the way while you make your bow.
Insert the burlap ribbon that is approximately 4 inches wide and about a yard long. Take the plaid ribbon and insert into the Bowdabra right side down. Bring the ribbon across and around and place the right side of the ribbon end into the Bowdabra. Push the ribbon down in the center for the first bow. Then, repeat this with the second piece of plaid ribbon.
Now, take the burlap mesh and insert into the Bowdabra bring across and around and insert the other end. Finish this bow by pushing the center into the Bowdabra. Repeat with the second piece of mesh ribbon. Adjust the wires on the bows. (This is a perfect project for using up scrap ribbon)
Add the piece of dovetailed mesh and then add the Bowdabra rhinestone mesh. Next, insert the sunflower.
Finishing your floral arrangement
Finally, insert the two loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra and then turn to the back and tie a knot and double knot.
To finish, clip the excess wire. Use the stem of the sunflower to insert into the floral vase. Shape and adjust everything to your satisfaction. Use glue dot to adjust and shape the tails on the vase.
