Halloween Deco Mesh Wreath

Halloween deco mesh wreath

Hey everyone, I’m Simply Shalese, here to make something awesome with you guys! Today we will be making an adorable Halloween deco mesh wreath. Let’s get started!

Materials

Mini Bowdabra

Wreath ring

Deco mesh in orange, white and black

Ghost sign

Chenille Stems

Scissors

Hot glue gun

Preparing the bundles

Cut your orange, white and black deco mesh into 8 inch long pieces. Cut your chenille stems in half. Place your chenille stem in the center of your bowdabra. Take four pieces of your deco mesh and have them overlapping. I used four pieces but you can definitely use as many or as few pieces as you’d like.

Once you have the desired amount of pieces, crisscross the chenille stem and pull it nice and tight. Then remove the bundle from your bowdabra and twist the chenille stem to the back of your bundle.

Adding the bundles to the wreath

Once you’ve made all of your bundles, it’s time to finally add them to your wreath. I prefer to alternate between the inner and outer two center rings. Take your bundle and twist the chenille stem around the ring. Alternating as you make your way around the ring. I decided to go with three bundles in each of the six sections for a total of 18 bundles. You can definitely go with four or even five bundles in each section.

Adding the sign

Cut off the top hanger and turn the sign over. Take two chenille stems and twist them together to make one long chenille stem. Repeat this step with the top and bottom fo the sign. Use a hot glue gun to glue the stems in place.

Place the sign snugly in the center of the wreath and twist the chenille stems to the wreath ring, making sure it’s nice and secure.

And you are all done. So quick and simple to make. Add any additional embellishments you’d like. Just have fun with it and make it your own.
