Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with Christmas Cards with Bowdabra bows.
Materials:
Various ribbons
Christmas papers
I created 2 cards using an assortment of Christmas papers. After creating the first card, I realized I needed it a little bit smaller to fit into the box so I created a 2nd card. They bow look amazing and the card can actually become the gift by adding a gift card!
Start by placing Bow Wire in the channel and wrapping it underneath so it is out of your way while creating the bow.
Leaving a 4″ tail, place the ribbon in the channel.
Make a 3 looped bow. Use the wand to push the ribbon into the channel.
Pull up on the bow wire and tie off.
Fluff out the bow.
Create a 2nd bow using green ribbon.
Create the cards then use the bow wire to attach the bows to the cards. I had a longer length of bow wire on the red bow, so I rethreaded it through the card and use a craft tool to create spirals.
The green bow was added to the card but I chose not to create spirals.
With a wide variety of ribbons on the market, it’s easy to create the perfect Christmas/Holiday cards. Have you started your cards yet?
Thanks for stopping by.
