Materials:
- Burlap ribbon, 5” wide
- Wine Bottle
- Bowdabra bow maker
- Bowabra bow wire
- Decorative pick
Instructions:
First, cut your ribbon so that you have about 4 or 5 inches above the top of your wine bottle. Place it around your wine bottle in one direction. Then, take another piece of ribbon, cut the same length, and wrap it around your bottle in the other direction.
Next, gather all the ribbon at the top so that the entire wine bottle is covered. Now, take a piece of Bowdabra bow wire and fold it in half so that it functions as a slip knot. Pull it tight and then tie a knot. Put the wine bottle aside while you make the bow.
Make the bow
Cut a piece of Bow wire in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. Tuck the ends under to keep them out of the way while you make your bow.
Cut a piece of ribbon and insert it into the Bowdabra. Make a loop and twist and make a matching loop on the other side, making sure the right sides are facing the correct direction. Next, add a decorative pick and scrunch down.
Finally, take the two loose wires and insert them into the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. You have an elegant gift wrapped wine bottle!
