Cutting The Ribbon
First, I cut a few pieces of the burlap, ribbon, and sheer ribbon into 7 inch long pieces. I also cut a few pieces of each ribbon into 6 inch long pieces. I repeated this step with 5 inch long pieces, along with 4 inch long pieces. The number of pieces you cut of each length is completely up to you. I chose to cut at least 4 or so pieces of each length. The size of the lengths and the number of each length is completely up to you. If you want a larger, more spiked bow, then add more. Just have fun with it and make it your own.
Placing the Bow Wire
The first thing I do is fold the bow wire in half and place it in the center of the Bowdabra. I like to use about 8-9 inches of bow wire.
Adding the Spikes
Starting with the longest pieces of ribbon, take the first piece, and scrunch it in the center. I prefer a uniform scrunch by folding the ribbon in half, bring the front and back up and place it down in the center of the Bowdabra. Repeat this step with the other pieces you’ve cut.
As you place the ribbon, alternate which side you place the ribbon just to fan it out and make the bow more spiked. This also gives you the change to see each piece of ribbon. So as I add more pieces I will add the next size length. So I started with the 7 inch long pieces then went to the 6 inch long pieces.
Next, you will add the 5 inch long pieces and so forth. Use your wand to scrunch everything together because it can get pretty full. While the wand is in place, this is the best time to adjust the bow as much as you can. Also, don’t forget to alternate and criss-cross each piece of ribbon.
Tying the Wire
Give your bow one final scrunch. Then take the bow wire, the two open ends inside of the loop. Hold the bow in place and give it a nice tug. Then remove it from the Bowdabra. Tie it in a knot a few more times just to make sure it’s nice and secure. Then cut away the excess bow wire.
Adding the Wedding decor Bow to a Mason Jar
Take a small piece of burlap and hot glue it around the mason jar. This step is optional. If you prefer to skip step then you are free to do so. Next, hot glue the bow to the burlap. And you are all done. Quick simple, and inexpensive. It’s the perfect touch for any rustic wedding.

Adding the Loops
First, take your burlap ribbon and scrunch it in the center. Place it on your Bowdabra and cut the end of the burlap. This will serve as your tail. Make it as long or as short as you’d like.
Next, take another piece of burlap, scrunch the end, man a loop, and scrunch the other end. Estimate the enter and scrunch it one more time. Use your wand to help scrunch everything together.
Transferring your Bow
This bow is getting so thick already that I decided to transfer it to the larger Bowdabra. To do you, take the bow wire, the two open ends inside of the loop, and pull the bow wire. Remove it from the Bowdabra. Place bow wire in half and place it in the center of the larger Bowdabra. Place your bow in the center and scrunch it once again. Then cut away the excess bow wire. Now we can continue making our bow
Adding More Loops
Repeat the steps you just did to add another set of burlap loops to your bow. Use your wand to scrunch everything together. Next, add your satin ribbon. Scrunch the ribbon, make a loop, and leave some ribbon to hang over the side that will serve as your tail. Make another loop with the other end of the ribbon. Scrunch everything together and make any adjustments while the wand is in place.
