Pink and Pretty Bows for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Pink for October – the Breast Cancer Awareness Month! That’s the theme Sandy picks for this week’s Facebook Live.

Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Wreath Bow (begins from 1:40)

Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Wreath Bow

Materials required:
* Large wreath in the shape of the symbolic Awareness bow
* Large Bowdabra
* Bowdabra Bow Wire
* White mesh
* Pink tulle
* Pink burlap
* Pipe Cleaner
* Zots

1. Sandy begins the project with the large Awareness wreath which she made earlier with a mesh wrapped around it and some pretty pink bows.
2. She scrunches a mesh (8” wide) as a diagonal and adds another piece of mesh to it.
3. Next she takes a 6” wide and yard long piece of tulle and scrunches it in half into the Large Bowdabra.
4. She ties up the bow with the Bowdabra Bow Wire and wraps it around the wreath.
5. She repeats these steps once more with the mesh and the tulle, creating another similar bow.
6. Once done, Sandy uses a zot to stick the bow to the wreath.
7. Next she takes a piece of pink burlap (2 and half inches wide) and 23” long. She puts it in the right side of the ribbon in the Bowdabra, tucking in the two ends.
8. Sandy picks up a one and half inches wide and two yards long white ribbon, and scrunches it in with twist and turn method, making loops like a regular bow.
9. She adds a little pipe cleaner folded in the shape of a Cancer Awareness bow and sticks it to the bow with a zot.
10. Using two more permanent zots, she sticks the bow to the Breast Cancer Awareness wreath. The gorgeous white and pink Awareness wreath is ready!

The Scarf Bow Gift (begins from 8:47)

The Scarf Bow Gift

Materials required:
* Scarf
* Large Bowdabra
* Feather bow
* Pink ribbons
* Wreath

1. Sandy begins by placing the scarf down the middle in the Large Bowdabra. She puts in one end of the scarf in a loop on one side with its tail crossing over to the side. She repeats the process with the other side of the scarf to create a symbolic Awareness bow shape.
2. Next she loops a feather bow on top of the scarf.
3. Next she inserts a 20” pink ribbon, tucking in the ends first and then scrunching it in through the middle.
4. She ties in the bow to make a beautiful and unique gift, which can even be put on a wreath.

Wonky Fashionable Bow (begins from 11:33)

Materials required:
* Large Bowdabra
* Printed fabric
* Ponytail holder

1. Sandy uses a piece of printed fabric for this project.
2. She first places the ends of the ribbon into the Large Bowdabra, keeping the right side of the ribbon up and then scrunches it down the middle.
3. She ties up the fabric bow with the Bowdabra Bow Wire and fluffs out the loops.
4. Sandy next takes another small piece of the same fabric which has a knot in its middle and wraps it around the middle of the bow and ties it with the Bowdabra Bow Wire.
5. She attaches a pony tail holder to the Bow Wire to make a very pretty hair bow in minutes.

Beautiful Pink Hair Bow (begins from 14:19)

Materials required:
* Large Bowdabra
* Pink ribbon
* Printed ribbons
* Hair clip

1. Sandy uses the Large Bowdabra to scrunch in a 2½” wide pink ribbon (12” long) and adds a 1½” wide white and pink ribbon (12” long) to it.
2. She picks up another piece of the pink ribbon (27” long), scrunches it in the middle, brings in the ends over the ribbon and turns in the ends into the Bowdabra and scrunches in the middle to give it the shape of a boutique bow.
3. She ties up the bow to make a gorgeous bow in minutes.
4. As a finishing touch, Sandy ties the bow to the hair clip with the remaining Bow Wire to make a very pretty pink hair bow.

Fun, Funky Pink Hair Bow (begins from 17:40)

Materials required:
* Large Bowdabra
* Pink tulle
* Korker ribbons
* Hairband

1. Sandy uses the Mini Bowdabra to scrunch in a 6” wide and a yard long pink tulle.
2. She adds a few pieces of premade korker ribbon and ties them to the tulle in a bow to make a fun, funky, inexpensive hair bow. She uses the remaining Bow Wire to tie it to a pink hairband.

Materials required:
* Large Bowdabra
* White ribbon
* Pink ribbon scraps
* Ponytail holder

1. Sandy uses the Large Bowdabra for this project.
2. She picks a 1½” wide white ribbon (12” long) and lays it down in the Bowdabra.
3. Next she uses a yard long piece of the same ribbon, folds it in half and places it down in the Bowdabra. The ends are placed in first and the loops crisscrossed as an X and scrunched in with a little mountain crease in the middle.
4. She adds two scraps of pink ribbon, scrunched in the same way into the Bowdabra.
5. She ties in the ribbons into a bow and tie it to a ponytail holder to make a super quick, super cute pink hair bow.

Pink and Silver Boutique Bow (begins from 25:00)

Materials required:
* Large Bowdabra
* Scrunchy Ribbon Silver
* Pink Ribbon

1. Sandy uses the Large Bowdabra for this project.
2. She picks large piece of the scrunchy ribbon and scrunches it down the middle in the Bowdabra.
3. Next she adds a piece of the pink ribbon folding in the ends, crisscrossing the loops and scrunching the bow down the middle.
4. She ties up the bow and shapes out the bow to make a super simple and cute boutique bow.
