“Hi, I’m Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra Bow Maker. Today, I’m going to show you how to make an adorable little back to school outfit with this adorable T-shirt and hair bow. So, let’s get started.”
First, I’m going to start by taking this piece of grosgrain ribbon, and I’ve already put my Peel and Stick fabric fuse on it. So, all I have to do now is just take the tape off. Then, I’m going to just take this and put it right in a straight line onto my shirt. And I love the fabric fuse because it is washable.
So in my next step, I’m going to make a cute little bow to add to this. I’m going to put my shirt aside for a second. So, I’m taking my Bowdabra Bow Wire, and then, I’ll take my Bow Wire and put that into my Mini Bowdabra and tuck it underneath.
I’m just going to take the right side of this ribbon, scrunch it down into my Mini Bowdabra. Then, I’m going to come back around, take the right side of the ribbon and scrunch it into my Mini. And then, for the center, I’m just going to do my little mountain-up and scrunch that in, because that gives it a cute little shape.
Then, I have these assorted Korker ribbons, and as anybody who’s watched me before know I am way too lazy to curl these ribbons. So I buy them already curled. And we have a link below that you can go to. So then, what I’ll do is take my wand and just give everything a little push. And I’ll bring this out, pull it through the slipknot. I pull it tight while it’s still in my Mini Bowdabra and bring it around, separate the ends, and I’m going to tie a knot. And I’m going to double-knot it. Then, I’ll just clip the ends really tight into where the bow is.
And then, I’m going to take my fabric fuse again, and I’m just going to put this across and clip it here. Next, I’m just going to pull the backing off of it. And bring my shirt back over here. And then, I’m just going to tightly put this bow right there at the top. So, you have a really cute little shirt.
Now, we’re going to make the hair bow to go with it. So, I’m going to take my Mini Bowdabra. And then, take my Bowdabra Bow Wire. I’m just going to cut it here. And I’m going to grab my little alligator clip, which I find it much easier to buy them with the grosgrain already on them. So now, and we’ll put a link for that below.
So now, I’m going to just fold my Bowdabra Wire in half and tuck the ends underneath. Then, I’m going to take my matching grosgrain ribbon, and I’m going to take the right side of the ribbon and scrunch that down into my Mini Bowdabra. I’m going to fold it back around and scrunch it. And like I always do, when I’m scrunching it in, I always do these mountain-up folds and just scrunch it in. That way, it holds a really nice shape. Then, I’ll take the right side of my ribbon here and do exactly the same thing. I’m just going to scrunch it in, bring this one back. I bring it back around and then scrunch that in.

Next, I’m going to just take these Korker ribbons, and they come in all different sizes, so you can cut them to whatever length you want. Throw that in, and throw another little one here, and then I’ll just take my wand and give everything a really nice push. Bring this back, this is a very, very thick grosgrain, but I like it because it will hold its shape really well. I’m going to pull it tight while it’s still in my Mini Bowdabra, pull it out. I’m going to separate my ends and bring them around to the back.
So, I’m just going to tie this tight. And I’m going to clip this really close. And then, I’m going to use a piece of the fabric fuse on here, but you could use a glue gun. I think I’m going to use a piece of the fabric fuse. And I’m just going to make sure I cut this to the right length. And so, I’m going to clip it a little thinner. Now, I’m going to put this on the top of my alligator clip. And then, just peel this off. There we go. And then, once it’s peeled off, I’m just going to glue this right onto my bow. And then, you have this adorable hair bow and T-shirt outfit.
