Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today creating a baby Gender Reveal project with the Bowdabra.
In this day and age when it is possible to know the gender of your baby during pregnancy, it’s fun to reveal it to everyone in unique ways.
Supplies:
Bowdabra Bow Making Tool
Bowdabra bow wire
Ribbon
Rinea Foiled Papers
Gender Reveals can be fun, but I wanted something a little different, so let me show you what I’ve created.
First, start by placing the bow wire in the Bowdabra and wrap it underneath so it is out of your way while you create your bow. Cut a 6″ length of ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra.
Create a 3 looped bow, twisting the ribbon as you create each loop.
Pull up on the bow wire and tie off to finish your bow.
I chose to etch the glassware so you can’t see clearly into the jars. This makes the reveal much more fun! See this post on how to etch the glassware.
Then, tie the bows on to the larger jars which are placed in the basket and filled with the revealing elements. I wrapped the smaller jars with pink and blue foiled papers. Then, I fill each with the revealing color.
What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by.
