Bowdabra, the world’s easiest bowmaker, is the one tool you need to make the most amazing DIY bows in minutes. Watch Sandy Sandler, the creator of Bowdabra, create super, super easy and stunningly beautiful hair bows, boutique bows, JoJo inspired bows and more without sewing or glue. It is as easy as 1-2-3.
SUPER SIMPLE JOJO BOW
Sandy’s first project for the evening is a super simple and gorgeous JoJo inspired bow. She fuses together two different ribbons (each 47” long) putting the 1.5” wide printed ribbon on top of the 2” wide plain ribbon. Next, she inserts the fused ribbons in the Large Bowdabra with twist-and-turn method making loops and tops it with two beautiful tiny rose picks. She ties both the ribbons and the rose picks and glues it to a cute little alligator clip.
After tying the ribbons, picks, and the clip together using the Bowdabra bow wire, Sandy shapes out the loops and the tails. Since it is a JoJo bow, the back would be up while the front tails come down. She uses a few sticky rhinestone dots to decorate the ribbon once the beautiful bow is all done.
CUTE LITTLE PONYTAIL HOLDER FOR WEDDING
Next in line is a beautiful ponytail holder for a wedding. Sandy scrunches two white ribbons (14” long and 4” wide) with angle cut ends into the Large Bowdabra. She tops it with a decorative ribbon (16” long and 2.5” wide) making loops and adds another similar ribbon (15” long) over it in the same manner. She scrunches another white ribbon (10” long and 4” wide) over it from the width side and ties it all with a ponytail holder, shaping the loops and the tails.
COLORFUL PRETTY BOW
For this project, Sandy scrunches a Bowdabra spring ribbon (14.5” inches long and 2.5” inches wide) and tops it with a blue ribbon and a red dovetailed ribbon (9″ long and 2.5″ wide). She scrunches another red ribbon (12.5” long and 2.5” wide) over it making loops and tops it with a green ribbon (7” long and 2.5” wide). Adding a few korker ribbons and rose picks over it, she shapes all the loops and tails to finish the super simple red blue and green bow that will look beautiful in all occasions.
JOJO BOW PONYTAIL HOLDER/BRACELET
Switching to Mini Bowdabra, Sandy scrunches a translucent tulle (47” long and 3” wide) making loops with a twist and turn method and ties it to a ponytail holder. Since it’s a JoJo bow, the ends are cut at an angle. This ponytail holder can be worn by girls and women on the wrist as a decorative bracelet. As an additional touch of glitter, Sandy sticks a rhinestone dot on the center of the bow.
CUTE SIMPLE LITTLE HAIR BOW CLIP
To make a decorative hair bow clip, Sandy scrunches a red ribbon (7” long) with angle cuts on the ends and tops it with some korker ribbons and decorative pearls. She ties it all and glues an alligator clip to it. This pretty bow clip can also be used with headband for little girls or with a ponytail holder.
ADORABLE LITTLE PONYTAIL HOLDER
Sandy returns to the Large Bowdabra. Then, she scrunches a ribbon (11” long and 1.5” long) along with another ribbon (12.5” long and 2.5” wide.) Next, she tops it with a red ribbon (27” long and 2.5” wide) and makes loops in an X manner. She ties it all to a ponytail holder and separates the ends. Putting a rhinestone dot in the middle, Sandy finishes the adorable little ponytail holder.
CUTE LITTLE HEADBAND
Working on a cute little headband bow, Sandy scrunches a pink ribbon (17” long and 2.5” wide) making loops and tops it with a green ribbon (15” long and 2.5” wide) again making loops. She tops it with another green ribbon (7” long and 2.5” wide) and adds a dovetailed ribbon (26:21) (6” long and 1.5” wide) along with a pink ribbon (4” long and 2.5” wide). The next ribbon is 3.5” long that she tops with roses’ pick and a few colored korker ribbons. She ties it all to finish the bow that can be used with a headband.
